PhD student (based in Zurich) - Language Evolution and Population History

I am a PhD student based at the University of Zurich in the Human Evolutionary Ecology Group and a visiting student at the Evolutionary Ecology Group in the Zoology Department, University of Cambridge. My research focuses on how population history shapes language evolution, specifically considering how demographic processes such as population connectivity and population expansions have shaped the diversity of languages we see today.

I have a background in anthropology and worked on stress hormones in small-scale societies for my Master’s.
